Prisoners get creative
Inmates have been given the chance to put their hidden skills to practice whilst serrving time in prison. The New Bilibid Prison in Manila houses more than 12,000 inmates, with nearly half serving sentences of more than 20 years. Inmates undergo skills programmes in areas such as construction, auto-mechanic work, and arts and crafts, to fill their long hours and give them job options when they get released.
